Calling all Sprint customers! This is one Sprint deal you will not want to miss out on. One might even call it the deal of the decade. Hear us out. With the Sprint Unlimited Line on Us promo, you can get a free Sprint plan for life. Yes, we said for life.

Sprint hasn’t explicitly stated an expiration date for this promo but if you don’t want to miss it (which you really, really don’t), then you should take advantage ASAP.

Sprint Unlimited Line on Us Deal

Current customers on a Sprint phone plan can add a line for $0/month, for as long as you remain a customer of Sprint. Here’s what the free Sprint unlimited plan includes:

  • Unlimited talk and text
  • Unlimited data
  • SD video streaming

Sprint’s Unlimited Kickstart plan costs $35/month, so you will wind up saving $420/year. You’ll likely save a lot more since Kickstart is reserved for new customers only. If you were looking to add a new line on Sprint Unlimited, the cheapest for current customers is the Sprint Unlimited Basic plan, which costs $60/month. That said, the free plan is super basic, without any of the bells and whistles the other unlimited plans have, such as Hulu and hotspot—but free is free! And it’s an even better deal than Sprint’s old promo where you could get an unlimited plan for $1/month for a year.

How to qualify for the Sprint Unlimited Line on Us Promo

Here’s how to qualify for the Sprint Unlimited Line on Us deal in which you get a free unlimited plan for life:

  • Be an existing Sprint customer (joined prior to June 17, 2020).
  • Have an eligible Sprint phone plan.
  • Have at least one active voice line.
  • Be eligible to add a new line of service.
  • Have an account in good standing.

How to get your free Sprint line

There are several ways you can take advantage of this promo, including:

  • Reserve a line: You can reserve a free Sprint line now and add a phone to the line later.
  • Lease a phone: Lease a new phone through Sprint to accompany your new free line.
  • Bring your own phone: If you happen to have a phone you already love, bring it and reserve your line.

Bringing your own phone is the most affordable way to go, of course, but not everyone has an extra phone. Fortunately, leasing a phone through Sprint is cheaper than buying a phone through other competitors—the only caveat is you don’t get to own your phone once the 18-month Sprint Flex Lease is up.

How does the Sprint/T-Mobile merger affect this deal?

The short answer is that it doesn’t. Even once Sprint becomes T-Mobile, your line will still be free. If you want to learn more about the Sprint/T-Mobile merger, check out our guide.
