OnePlus

OnePlus is a Chinese based smartphone manufacturer that has been producing devices since 2013. The company makes low-cost, high value phones, with fast charging batteries that provide a day’s worth of power on a half hour charge.

The OnePlus 6 is the latest iteration of the company’s flagship—and really, only—smartphone. Each OnePlus device get a primary release (like the 6) followed by a “T” version (like the 6T) with slight upgrades, similar to Apple’s “S” versions of the iPhone. The OnePlus 7 is set for release in the first quarter of 2019, and will invariably be followed by a 7T version.

Price-wise, OnePlus’ phones include premium features without the high price tags of Apple, Samsung and Google. CNET calls the 6T, for example, “A hero phone without the sky-high price.” These phones feature top-of-the-line processors, fast charging and excellent cameras—all at prices that are a little more than half of what you’d pay for an iPhone X, for example.
