HTC is a Taiwanese electronics company that produces a range of smartphones from the budget-friendly to the very high end. The company was behind Google’s first Pixel, and sold half of its design and research team—along with rights to smartphone-related IP—to the internet giant in 2017. HTC still makes its own line of devices though.

The latest of these features one of the highest rated cameras on the market, stellar audio, a notch-less design, and “squeezable” gestures, similar to the Google Pixel. Some of HTC’s older devices, like the HTC Bolt, are still on the market as well, and are very affordable.

HTC has of late company has diversified its offerings by adding virtual reality headsets and fitness trackers to its stable of products to bring in different sources of revenue.

HTC phones can be purchased from select carriers and from the company directly, via their website. Financing is available via HTC and you can buy devices programmed for service on AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon, or unlocked.
