I just got the Sony Ericsson z520a phone in the mail today. It's a great phone. Pros: mostly everything. The camera quality is the best, I love the sounds, the color screen is so clear, it's compact, easy to use. Everything is a pro in this phone. Cons: none so far! I would suggest this phone for anyone who likes compact, easy-to-use phones. It's brilliant.

I have had many cell phones over the years. The Sony Ericsson Z520a is "clearly" the best cell phone that I have ever owned!

The Sony Ericsson Z520a cell phone is off the chain! It's CLEARLY the best cell phone I've ever possessed. I'm a new Cingular customer, and this is my 1st phone with them. The size is very convenient, the color is good to me, and the functions are AWESOME. I didn't really need the instruction booklet to figure this baby out! I love the way you can cut the Bluetooth function on and off. I'd recommend this phone to anyone who wants something small and compact like the Sony Ericsson Z520a. New Cingular customers this is the new phone you want right here....TRUST me I know!!

This phone can be so great sometimes, but other times it's completely terrible. Mine JUST bit the dust, I can't talk on it now. It won't pick up any sound whatsoever. I'm just using it for texting now. I had a problem with the smartchip slipping out for a while, and the constant pictures on the side sucked too. The battery is very tempermental, and the phone tends to lock up sometimes. It also has a hard time turning on, I have to push the button multiple times to get it to work. Do NOT get this phone. It is HORRIBLE!

I had the Sony Ericsson Z520a phone four times already and I've ordered it the last time. This phone is fantastic except after 2-3 months the other person on the other line can't hear you so then it sucks. Besides that it's great! It took me a long time to figure out how to use it...and dosnt have much space on it. The camera is okay. You can take a super long video with a different setting, it's hard as rock. I dropped it on the ground in a parking lot and it wasn't even scratched! I liked it but i was sick of losing my stuff because of the calling problem. I wouldn't buy this phone. I am getting a new one as we speak. I hope you make a wise choice.

Let me start by saying I hate this phone!!!!...so ya I feel better, this phone always drops my calls!!, always!!!...it annoys me when I'm talking to someone and it just drops the call even when I have 5 bars. The phone is really slippery and it is hard to open and when I have it in my pocket or when I'm using it it takes pictures which I hate deleting, the battery is crap and half the time I have to like twist the charger wire just to get it to charge, don't get this phone!!!

I purchased the Sony Ericsson Z520a phone and have been nothing but unhappy since the day I activated it. The PTT function constantly is activated and the side volume buttons have to nearly be stepped on to work. My bluethooth only works part of the time and if I am talking to someone and want to call them back using the bluetooth I have to turn the phone completely off in order for it to register. The phone has also dropped several calls for me for no reason. I never had this problem with any other phone. Just one more negative note is the battery life is about one day for this phone. The Motorola flip phone I previously had went about 5 days. I'm returning this phone today for a Samsung and hopefully will be pleased with the purchase.

The Sony Ericsson Z520a cell phone is the worst phone ever!!! I got the phone and at first the only problem I would have was droped calls. When I first got the phone I had a cover on it, but after the leather wore off of the clip part of the case I took it off only to find that the LCD screen was coming off. So naturally I called for a replacement. And that replacement was worse than the first phone, not only did it's LCD screen come off too. I would drop more calls when I would have full signal. Or I could have no signal when I'm in an area where other people who had cingular like myself would have full bars. That phone is only good for one thing. . . Target practice!!!!

I have had my Sony Ericsson Z520a cell phone for over a year. I have never had so many problems with a cell phone. First the camera button on the side of the camera takes pictures when it wants too and then saves them all. It is a pain to get open most of the time. The exterior screen is hardly big enough to read. It drops calls all the time especially when traveling. I miss alot of call because the phone doesn't ring, but it will chime becasue I have a voice mail. Messenger is a pain as well. Most of my messages never go through. The phone locks up alot, to the point of taking the battery out for a couple of minutes to get it to boot up right again. And just today, the main srceen went blank white. A quick search on the net, and I found that this is a common hardware problem that if you are not under warranty, you'll buy a new phone. I would not recommend this phone.

I received this interesting phone for Christmas, and let me tell you, it is great. I wanted to buy it this summer but didn't. Only to my surprise did I find now that my phone was replaced by the Z525. I finally tracked one down and bought it. It is great. My only complain is that I can't get signal in my house, but everywhere else, includingright outside, is full bars. I would recommend the Sony Ericsson Z520a to someone who wants a simple to use phone packed full of options!
