Its good but the touch pad is not so sensitive. No auto flash, good battery, and good display. Simple, I like it.

This may be the worst phone I have ever owned. In addition to the touch screen which is only marginally responsive, the case perimeter is surrounded by buttons so that you are always inadvertently changing settings when you reach into your pocket. The case gives no feel clues as to whether you are taking it out of your pocket right sight up or upside down. I'm an industrial designer. I would fire the entire team responsible for this stupid device. I have barely been able to get to my phone when its ringing without disconnecting the party calling. The programming is also absurd. It sometimes takes four moves to do the most obvious command.

I love this phone. It took me awhile to learn the touchscreen techniques, but continually playing with it, the more I fell in love with it. The battery life is great and the weight of the phone does not weigh my pocket down on my scrub uniform. Highly recommended!!!

best phone ever . amazing call quality . battery life is 100% . easy access . use isn't tough at all . with all the people complaining it freezes, maybe its your phone ? i've had mine for almost 3 years & it's never frozen up once . reccommend to everybody . (:

I didn't know the exact date I bought this phone but I have had it for a while now, and I have to say I haven't had any bad news to report on it! The only thing that isn't all that great is that if you want to take pictures with it you have to be VERY still because it's a only a 2.0 and it's easy to blur. But as for the phone itself I have been pretty happy with it. I recommend getting scratch protectors for any touch phone just because you can scratch them with your fingernails or things in your pockets. But this phone has been a good one!!

I saw this phone and adored the exterior. Before purchasing this phone, I read the reviews online. I was surprised - they were all so negative! My heart was already set on it, so I took a chance and purchased it. I don't know why people had problems with it, mine is great! It never drops calls, my speaker is loud, it doesn't freeze, the call quality is precise, the camera is of good quality, and the keyboard is even great (it only took me my first day of 'exploring' my phone to get used to the keyboard, probably because Ive never used a QWERTY before). I was so glad I didn't listen to the reviews I read because I haven't been disappointed with this phone. The phone has a few downsides like any phone (little things that irk you but not enough to hate it): sometimes my phone doesn't recognize I turned it to the side (to use the QWERTY keyboard) so I have to exaggerate a turn [sometimes more than once], also the widgets aren't changeable. Those are minor things! The phone has some awesome little things that make me happy like under Tools I have a very handy Tip Calculator, to calculate tips, splitting checks, etc. Also, I really enjoy how when I type a message, under options I can add a/both delivery report (two types: that the message was sent - which the phone has an automatic pop-up anyways so I don't know why you would want to check this, and also that the message was read, this way you can get a delivery report that informs you that your message was read at this time. Another wicked gadget the phone possesses is something under settings called Motion Detection, when someone calls and you want to shut your phone up without hanging up on the person (in case they find out you sent them to voicemail!) you simply turn the phone over, and it turns off. Also, very handy is a blocking device. You can put numbers on auto-reject even! (including "unknown callers"). This phone has great perks and looks very attractive. But the best part is that the reviews were wrong - this phone works great and is a keeper!

The phone is just ok, its light and easy to carry, and has good battery life. The biggest problem with the phone is that you cannot turn off 3G. As everyone knows by now, by turning off 3G, you can get decent reception on GSM. My 4 year old Sony Ericsson K800 has the feature to turn off 3G and only use GSM, but this phone doesn't, making it useless almost everywhere in New York.

I was so excited to finally get away from my old Star Trek flip phone and get into something updated. I am on my 3rd Solstice since March and not by choice. I love the keyboard, widget bar and the other features. My problem has been the phone freezing up. I can't believe I only read one review here that had the same problem and I am on my third one that does the same thing. I freezes in every aspect that you work with; texting, calling, surfing or even just trying to unlock it. I have only had the phone about 2 months since I got it in late March because I keep having to send it off to have it fixed and then they can't. AT&T replaced the first one since it took it back within the 30 days after signing a new contract. I have had to have the last one fixed on a service plan and then I had it replaced with another brand new one and now on the 3rd day, it has started to freeze up. Can't wait till my plan is up again to try something else.
