Yes it does. When placing a call on the Samsung Jack, you press Send. If you'd like to place a call using the speakerphone, simply press the Send key a bit longer until the feature is activated.

I downloaded music from my PC to my Jack. At the bottom right corner of the screen while music playing, is a "speaker" icon and mine says 20%. the tutorial has this but it says 70%. How do I change the volume? HELP. The volume is below average with headphone and barely audible without.I'm thinking knowing how to change that 20% to 70% will do the trick. thanks.

Comparing the Jack and the Bold is kind of like comparing apples and oranges. The Bold is an extremely robust smartphone that offers high end features across the board, while the Jack is a mid-line smartphone that offers decent, but not fantastic features. For instance, the Bold has a faster processor, and higher resolution screen.
If you are comparing smartphones, a more similar phone to the Bold would be the HTC Fuze.

Most Helpful Customer Reviews of the Samsung Jack (AT&T)
Customer Rating: 4.5
by Emily -- October 28th 2009 -- Las Vegas, NV
It is a nice upgrade from the first BlackJack. Only bad things are it is too sleek and slips out of your hand a lot easier, and the volume doesn't turn up enough when in louder areas. Other than those two things, it is a great phone.
Customer Rating: 4
by Tracy S -- June 24th 2009 -- Hampton, GA
The Samsung Jack is a good phone, but it has one flaw. The volume is too low. I wanted to return it, but I was past my 90 minutes of talk time so therefore, I could not return the phone.
