The Samsung Behold II from T-Mobile defines elegance in a mobile device. The speed of the Android Operating System combined with the large, brilliantly colored Touchscreen Display creates a fluid, intuitive and unique user interface that is quickly mastered and remarkably efficient.
The Samsung Behold II hardware itself is impressive - the subtle coloration combined with textured etching on the dedicated physical keys realizes a rich and understated look. The 4.23 ounce heft brings solid and well made feel without even approaching cumbersome, and the Cutting Edge AMOLED Display proves highly responsive, vibrantly colored and due to its low power draw - allows for a very impressive 6 Hour Talk Time.
The entire package is wrapped around a 5.0 Megapixel Camera with Autofocus, Video Capture and Flash, Stereo Bluetooth v2.1, a music player that can play almost any format you throw at it including MP3, AAC, WMA, AAC+, MPEG4, WAV and MIDI and the clear, crisp voice audio you'd expect from a Samsung device.

Got it yesterday. AMAZING PICTURE QUALITY. Phone call crispness is superb. Camera is amazing. My ONLY complaint is battery life. I have to charge up at least 2 times a day. If you use Facebook, apps, text a lot it will last you maybe 5 hours. AWESOME Phone. I recommend it..

This phone was sent to me free of charge to replace my defective Sidekick 08. At 1st, I was skeptical because it is an android phone. However, the more I use it, the better it seems to be. As always, some people will have their issues with cellphones. My only wish is that this phone had a sliding keyboard.

I would only rate this as a decent android phone after one roots it, installs a custom rom that eliminates all of Samsung's bloatware. I purchased this phone given the promise from Samsung that it'd be updated to android 2.x. It has since in the scant weeks I've had it been ABANDONED by Samsung. I've been able to "hack" my way around into making this a servicable phone. If you're not comfortable with rooting and rom flashing, steer clear of this phone or you will be SORELY disappointed. Dialer crashes and memory cards randomly erasing themselves are two things that happen A LOT with the stock software.

The Behold II is a much better phone if you can get rid of the interface Samsung put on top of Android. The cube interface is gimmicky. I never use it. It's easier to pull up the Youtube app than it is to scroll through the cube's polaroid picture style interface. The app drawer is on the side which makes it hard to switch home screens without accidentally hitting the app drawer. Again you can get rid of this with a new launcher from the market place. Another down side to this phone is it is stuck on Android 1.5. Come on Samsung! Get with it!
