The Galaxy SII is easily the best Android phone on the market today. To answer the person who was asking if you can facetime you cannot. BUT Skype and Google Talk are both cross-platform compatible so you could use those to do the same thing (face-time is an Apple only feature...because they want it to be that way)
Anyway the GS3 is very slim and super light. Words do it no justice. I feel that it's a little too light, but adding a case to it makes it the perfect weight. I'd suggest putting a matte screen protector on it too, while it's not because the screen is easily scratched it's just because it's a good gaming phone and matte screen protectors allow you to easily slide your finger across the screen. Anyway the battery life is acceptable. I still haven't gotten to the point where I know how long it'll last since I have it constantly charging but it hasn't died on me yet so that's a good thing.

The GS3 is a very good phone, some people don't like the design because the One X looks better...honestly if we didn't have the one X I doubt people would be saying the same thing. The GS3 is plasticy but I don't mind that, it's a good way to keep the phone light. Also you can't beat the power of this beast and the 2GB of ramd doesn't hurt. The LTE does take a toll on the battery but that same batter is the biggest standard battery out there (next to the galaxy note).

There is no doubt this is best smart phone available in market. After using this phone, any phone I look at seems very small and display looks poor.
Samsung did an amazing job. It has great display and so easy to use. Also, those NFC and eye reader is so useful. I am sure even iPhone 5 will have a hard time beating this phone.
I totally love it.
For those of who complain about battery life, you think about it. As smart phone this phone has the best life. It works decent. You can do so much with this phone and battery last whole day that is enough. It charges very quickly too.

Excellent phone, very fast and takes good pictures. Loved my 4S until I got this phone. The speed is amazing and the battery life is good also. Very much recommend this phone as a iPhone alternative.

I have both HTC One X (AT&T) and Samsung galaxy S3 (AT&T). Both pre-ordered and got the HTC about 6 weeks back and Samsung last week.
It's a great phone, good voice quality, very responsive, good battery, nice screen (better than HTC One X). AT&T 4g LTE amazingly fast in SF bay area.
It looks ugly and has a cheap look (IMO). Samsung could've done better. I am looking for a case to cover the ugliness.
HTC One X has a better look and it doesn't look cheap (you can't take the battery out or no micro SD card, that's not cool (IMO))
IMO both are great phones, but its not the perfect phone. Given the choices of phone out there you will not be disappointed (maybe until the iPhone comes out).
