I have had this phone two months. The signal strength and quality of calls (when I can get them) is horrible. We have 4G and I have tried limiting it to 3G and neither work. I had similar reception in another city - everyone else able to talk and I don't have a signal. Thinking it was a bad phone, I got a replacement and there was no improvement with it, so am returning it. Battery life is also extemely short, maybe 10 hours with low to moderate use (which I could live with if the phone worked. My two year old HTC incredible seldom dropped a call and had service nearly everywhere. I got this phone because of the icecream OS, which has many nice features. I would go back to my old incredible in a heartbeat, unfortunately, I traded it for the new phone. Stuck with this lemon for two years unless I decide to buy an old HTC phone off ebay, to upgrade.

I had this phone less then 24 hours before I was on the phone with Verizon and Lets Talk. This phone does not hold a signal and drops calls at a ridiculous rate. The data goes in and out. I turn my data off when not in use, and it takes forever to reconnect (like minutes). Never goes over two bars and rarely hit 4G. I did some research trying to figure out if it was the phone or the service. I am in a high coverage area, so I must conclude it is a phone. Looks like this is a common problem with the Nexus from Verizon. I exchanged it. The design is nice and the interface is great, but the battery dies too quickly. I am not a big internet surfer or app person. I used the stop watch and sent some texts, used navigation and the battery was depleted in 8 hours. I even lowered the screen brightness and sleep mode to help.
