The operating system has issues, have gotten an update that has greatly improved performance, but it is still lacking. My previous phone was a HTC INCREDIBLE and I would rank it superior to the to the RAZR. I anticipate a third operating system update for the RAZR. I would go with an HTC product.

I got my first cell phone back in 1994. Since then I have had exactly two cell phones that I loved. The first was the original moto razr, the second is the droid razr. The screen is awesome, the design is great. I'd like a little more battery life, but compaired to other droids/smart phones I have used, this battery is superior.
The virtual keyboard gives me some grief from time to time. It either won't go away or misses the exact key but it is ok. Still I dropped one for ease of use. The call clarity is great thanks to Verizon. I just wish they hadn't pulled my all you can eat data plan away from me while I was between phones.

Everything about this RAZR is great, but the only complaint that continues to come up is the BATTERY LIFE...Even when not in use (standby) it drains the battery..Needs a better way to conserve it....

Phone too easy to use. You have to have fingers like a small child.

Battery life is very poor in 4G - I\'d get 4 hours if the conditions were good. After doing some online research, I figured out how to turn off (and keep off) the majority of apps that were pulling power. The biggest battery hogs are the display and LTE(4G). I dimmed my display a bit and switched to 3G when im not surfing the web. I\'m surfing much faster than I did with my BB, so even in 3G it is an improvement. Doing this makes a BIG BIG difference in battery life!! At 30% from a full charge I\'m going 24+ hours now. We have the samsung stratosphere on our plan as well... It showed the same issues with battery life - took the same measures and got the same results.

Just got it and think I'm going to return it and get an iPhone; this is the second time a Verizon sales person got me to buy a Motorola. And it is no better than the first one..the HTC Incredible was better but it is still a Droid. Bout time I woke up and got an Apple. And that is where I'm going right now.
