The main disadvantage is battery. I hardly use my phone on some days when I am home all day but still battery drains like water. I have all automatic updates/weather/email accounts turned off even though it drains quickly. Other than battery life, it is a great phone indeed.

Love the phone but I am new to the Android network, so I still have a lot to learn. I like the phone and the features so far but my favorite thing is the keyring app.
That was the main reason I wanted the phone. There are many other features I like also.

I did a lot of research when I purchased this phone. Motorola has always made some of the best phones so I was comparing all the Motorola equipment. I wanted something with good internal along with big expansion also I wanted the biggest display with the dual core processor, mini HDMI, and great looks well the Photon had it all. the battery life is a bit weak but what high end phone isn't, if you turn off the 4G when just using the phone which is very easy to do it stretches battery life. Other than that this is an awesome phone, easy to use, great resolution, I would recommend it highly!

Good battery life if you leave the antennas you're not using turned off. 4G finally works, I never turned it on on the Evo because it rarely connected well. Takes a little getting used to without the HTC Sense but overall very pleased with the performance of the phone; it is very fast.

Great phone. Everything i need but has a real problem with the battery. Does last long enough to work a whole day without carrying a charger with you. So you have to invest in an external battery. So add another $50 to the cost.
Other then that its a great phone and better then the iphone.

THIS PHONE ROCKS! ALWAYS CARRY THE USB CABLE AROUND, HAVE A CAR CHARGER, AND AN ADDITIONAL MINIUSB CHARGING CABLE BECAUSE THE BATTERY LIFE IS SHORT...Everything else about this phone is better than your phone, and everything about this Photon phone is cooler than the Evo 3D, but everyone's cell phone battery is better than this garbage pile 4 hour max battery... oh and internet speeds over 11Mbs in full bar 4G other wise an average of 1.5-4 Mbs per sec down... Oh yea this is way better than any phone, iphone, or laptop ive owned... sell everything you need to in order to get your hands on one of these... but also budget for the constant charging of the stock battery... -M1XMSTR Faust
