I don't know why people keep referring to the Centro as an "entry level" smartphone; it is basically a smaller version of the Treo. It has all of the features of the Treo, and the keyboard is a lot easier to type on than you would expect. The browser on the phone is adequate, but I have seen better. The best thing about the phone is actually the Palm OS 5 platform. Even though it doesn't look nice and not good at multitasking like Windows Mobile, there is plenty of third party software to more than compensate for this. If you are a power user know how to customize your phone, you can have it looking and operating better than any Blackberry you will see. My only complaints are that since the phone is so slick, it makes it a little difficult to hold, and since it is smaller than a Treo, the battery life takes a hit. Other than that it is a terrific phone with a great operating system.

I just got my new Palm Centro today and I LOOOOVE it! I think the style of the phone is great. I got the pink one and it's the cutest thing ever! The pictures are soo clear and so is the sound. There are a lot of different ring tones to choose from and the touch screen is very nice. The only thing that I don't like is the buttons are sooo tiny and my fingers aren't. I had the blackberry pearl before and have to say I like this one much better, Hope this helps you make up your mind about getting one.

Love this phone. I had other smartphones and my last one was the "Wing", I do not regret switching to my new Palm Centro. Easy to use, practical, small but durable size (just perfect).

I just got this phone and tried out everything. Its very easy to get use to if you have never used a palm. The call quality is great. The internet is blazing fast and the sprint tv is awesome also (although it does pixelate a little). I do recommend getting a sprint power vision pack if you get this phone.. Otherwise its just a regular phone. So to wrap it all up, the palm Centro is definitely worth getting, you wont regret it.

I previously had the HTC Shadow from T-mobile. I thought the smaller screen and keys for texting on the Palm Centro were not going to work for me. It just took about three days to get used to. The battery life for just phone calls is great. Overall this was a good choice for me. The service provider is Sprint and I have yet to drop a call or lose a data connection. I would recommend subscribing to the unlimited data plan. The touchscreen works great for dialing, accessing internal applications, and even without the stylus, I can navigate my data. The quality of the camera is also good.

I love this Palm Centro. The only thing is that it is a little bit complicated to use especially the Ptunes software. It took me a while to figure it out. It has a lot of features and you need to make time to read the manual so that you know everything that the phone can actually do. Otherwise, it's a really nice phone and nice size. I really love it.

The Palm Centro is an okay cell phone, but the battery life is very short. I just received the phone 3 days ago and have had to charge it every day. I also do not like that I cannot turn my music into a ringtone. I exchanged it for a BlackBerry and did not like that one either, so I went back to the Palm Centro.

The Palm Centro is a great cell phone, but its hard to get used to if you have been using a different brand of cell phone. I love it though because it is a great cell phone. The design is good and it doesn't break that easily. I would give it a 7 or 8 out of 10.

I like the phone. It isn't really all that easy to figure out. I have had it now for a few months and I am still learning how to do new things everyday. The battery wears down quickly and I only use the phone portion and to check the weather. If I were to use it to watch the TV and all the other cool stuff it does, the battery might last half a day. Anyways, I think it is very nicely designed. I love my SPRING EVERYTHING plan. It's a really neat phone. Every where I go, people ask about or ask to see it!!

Love the palm centro. All the features are wonderful and easy to use. It was a little confusing at first the CD program and connecting the two when you have more than one phone and each CD is for it's own phone. But it is all good after using it at least twice a week.

I like the Palm Centro very much... It was beyond my imagination .. the sound quality of the mp3 songs that we listen through pocket tunes is excellent.. I think there are a very few phones which give such crystal clear sound quality. The camera is 1.3 mega pixel but the quality is so fine that one wont say tat its a 1.3 mega pixel camera...I think I don't have to say about the other features because if in say this space is not enough for it...Finally I say that one will never repent if he gets a Palm Centro... the demerits that it does not show call duration is negligible as compared to all the merits it has.. I recommend this phone n I am quite happy using this also...

I love this phone. I just switched from Verizon, and I don't regret it, yet! My boyfriend got the touch, and we sent it back b.c it is too complicated, he is now getting the Centro as well. It is really easy to learn, and for a first time smartphone buyer, this is the phone. The buttons were weird but I have had it for 1week and I already now 90% of the features/function and the buttons came around. I highly recommend

So far, phone is great. Internet is fast and doesn't freeze up on you. Also you can be able to watch youtube videos on it. Email set up is on par with the blackberries out there. More sturdier build to it also.holds up a signal like a Verizon phone(I have Verizon also). Call quality is excellent. Would recommend to anyone wanting a PDA/phone/organizer. By the way, after a while, you don't even notice that the keyboard is small.

I love the Centro, but the buttons can sometime feel a little small when dialing and texting. The features make up for the button size. I wanted a smaller version of the Treo and I got it.
