This phone is "OK" in some ways, and bad in others. Texting on it is a bad experience. I'm not fast by any standard, but it can't even keep up with me. I'm always looking up to see it has missed letters. You can't just touch where you want the cursor to go so you can edit, it pops up a stupid OK button and arrows. I've replaced the phone once, but it still just blanks out in the middle of some calls. I love the thin body. Can stick it in my shirt pocket. The battery seems pretty good. The music is pretty weak. The same mp3's on my ipod or blackberry can blow my eardrums, but on this they're not even close to being loud.

At first it looked lie it was a pretty decent phone, but don't let that fool you. This IS probably the worst phone EVER! And I upgraded from a FLIP phone, and because of that I'm going back to a flip phone. This thing glitches every time I text making a simple text that SHOULD only take about 10sec into a long complicated (minutes) of texting. AND GET THIS: the phone actually got BETTER when I dropped it and cracked the screen!

I have had many phones including the pantech jest which was a great phone, however the hotshot is the biggest peice of crap I think I have ever purchased. This phone has 0 memory so if you take a lot of pictures or like to save 1 or 2 texts this thing runs soooo slow. Texting is a joke it just randomly comes up like letters. The screen turns off and on and now this week the speaker is fuzzy. I know I can take it back to verizon and prob get a new one. But it will just be a newer peice of crap. Honestly buy this phone if you really feel like experiencing one of the worst phones ever made, that would be the only reason I would suggest it.
