I've had my Pantech Hotshot for about a week and I am just now getting used to it. I like the phone and its features. Its just a basic, beginners touchscreen phone and I find it very easy to use.I also find it very responsive and lightweight. The battery cover lid could be improved by being a little more thicker. I did myself a favor and purchased a phone cover for it and now it is much more easy to handle and to hold. It has a nice size screen and the icons are very responsive to the touch. The phone is very thin and lightweight...I like that. Its easy to use and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

The phone isn't bad. The camera is nice I just wish it had flash. The texting is a little slow. It can be frustrating when you call someone and it ends the call because the phone is kindof touchy. It sometimes takes a couple of times before it goes to the things that you want it to. It is small and fits into little spaces well. It doesn't let me play UNO anymore. It freezes up and I have to restart it. Though it has its pros too. The lock button is handy and I love that it has a place to put favorites. You can change your menu settings and I love that. It's easy to check your messages. It really isn't a bad phone.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! I'm a teenager and I wanted a basic phone that had the look of a smartphone and this seemed to be it! BUT it worked well for about 2 weeks and then the buttons wouldn't register and it was extremely annoying. Also, the back that covers the battery doesn't fit so it falls off frequently. I do NOT recommend this phone to anyone. I'm back to my good old Env3!

I am on my second Hotshot. At first I loved it; especially how light it was. Then, it stopped autorotating so i could not use T9; then it started to shut itself off; it drops calls and sometimes the touch screen locks up, the only way to reset the auto rotate is to remove the battery and it is a short term fix. I cannot imagine doing this for the next 13 months until I renew(?) with Verizon

This phone is not only unresponsive it is inferior in reception quality and requires that you speak directly into the mouthpiece or your voice is garbled. If you receive a call the slide to answer the call doesn't respond until the call is missed, then it activates. Truly, the most inferior phone I have had to deal with since purchasing my first cell phone in 1990. To top it off this was Verizon's 3 replacement phone for the LG that had issues twice and I had to return each phone. Each replacement phone was worse than the last.

I love this phone. I am not a youngster so new technology I don't catch onto very easily. I was able to do texting as soon as I got the phone and I didn't even read the instructional book. Thanks for making a phone that is user friendly.

I've had this phone for about 8 months and it worked well at first; but after a few months the texting started to freeze up and the phone would just turn off randomly! The touch screen is a bit hard to use. A few weeks ago the phone WOULD NOT charge! So the battery died. Waiting to get a new battery but have my fingers crossed that its completely broken so I can get a better phone!

My family purchased two of these phones and right from the start they've had problems.
They constantly freeze up, shut down randomly and are unresponsive.
We took them to the Verizon store and all they did was look up some reviews and said yes, many other people are having the same problems. They believe it's a software issue and just told us to deal with it until its fixed.
Not happy with these two phones at all. Don't purchase!

A bit hard to use compared to a former flipfone. The battery life is the bigger problem. Day and a half is the best I trust it!! Would not get the same phone again. May try to plead for a better battery. That may keep me with my provider. Hint hint people!!!
