Study Finds Less Than 15% of Teens Consider Games, Music Player, IM, Email or Video the Most Important Feature Beyond Voice San Francisco, CA (September 12, 2006) Online wireless retailer LetsTalk today announced the results of a survey of U.S. teenagers on their use of cell phones. The respondents, aged 10-18, overwhelmingly chose text messaging as their most important feature beyond voice calls, with very few teens identifying functionality such as video, email, instant messaging (IM) or a music player as the most important feature on a cell phone. The survey asked a representative sampling of teens in the United States between ages 10 and 18, what is your cell phone’s most important feature, and found:
