Overall, very happy with the Nokia 9300 phone. However, I was mislead by AT&T sales staff regarding the phones functionality with MS Word/Excel. The phone works ok with word but loses some commands such as bold, etc. Excel converts to lotus and loses almost all formulas. Basically the database program is useless to me. The mouse is also very sensitive and takes some time to get used to using. The antivirus program is good but, hard to verify that it is working. Setting up email is difficult, assistance with Nokia is poor and assistance with AT&T is poor. As the communicator gains popularity this should problem should go away. This is the 3rd communicator I have had and it is the best. I started with the 6000I, then the 9290 and now the 9300. Battery life is great but goes down quickly if surfing the web but, recharge is quick.

I would never have purchased this cell phone had I gone to the Mall and look at one before getting one as my work phone. On paper the Nokia 9300 cell phone has everything I want, except a camera but I wanted to stay with the Nokia brand name based on being satisfied with all the previous Nokia phone I have owned. Somebody in Nokia needs to get back on their medication for marketing this cumbersome design. I deliberately ignored the previous reviews because I wanted to try the cell phone out for myself. Now I am stuck with a cell phone I hate even though my company paid for it. I hate the cell phone so much I took the SIM card out of it and put it on my Nokia 6320 which I am currently using as my work cell phone. If you can get over the fact that you need a fanny pack or a purse to carry this phone around then get one but it is very NOT COOL LOOKING!!! SERIOUSLY LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND GO TO THE MALL AND SEE ONE, TOUCH IT BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR DECISION TO BUY.

Great Cell Phone... very easy to use... A must have if you a busy person and need functionality! Screen quality is good - Bluetooth works great. Same with spreadsheets and documents. Connects to my POP account and email system is easy to use. Well worth the money... Only 2 downsides - Nokia 9300 cell phone doesn't vibrate and weight - which I have gotten used to... well worth the weight in gold.

I like this phone a lot. I was torn between the Nokia 9300 and the Treo, and I'm happy I went with the Nokia. I can use all of my wall and car chargers from my old Nokia phone. It syncs easily with work and home computers, and the fact that I can keep spreadsheets, documents and some presentations on it simply can't be beat! I use it more for for the PDA and Blackberry functions, but even when I use the phone, it's not too bad. Beats the hell out of carrying a phone AND a PDA. As for the person who called it hideous, you're right. This is not a cute little toy phone, but it is a sweet tool if you use the apps it offers!
