Phone Smarts

Will you be able to send and share live video via text and e-mail?

Imagine being able to record video live from your cell phone and share it immediately. That's the idea behind the next phase of messaging solutions from Syniverse, called simply Mobile Video Broadcast Service. Essentially, what you can do is use your cell phone to shoot video and send it live to another cell phone, tablet, or even computer. All you need to send the video link is either a cell phone number to send it via text messaging or an e-mail address. You won't need to install any kind of application on a cell phone or computer and you don't need to create a new account, which is how many of the video sharing services currently work.

Additionally, if someone receives the message with the video link and doesn't have time to watch it, that's not a problem. They can still watch it at a later point, only difference it is that the video won't be live. It sounds like a pretty interesting service that's easy to use and it is. Watch the video below to get a better idea of how the service works:

Although, we don't have the feature here in the states, it is available in Korea from Korea Telecom as a service called "Show It."
