More details on T-Mobile's Galaxy S 4G phone emerge

Last month, T-Mobile announced it would be offering the next edition Samsung Galaxy S smartphone and now we have more details about that cell phone. Following the footsteps of the Samsung Vibrant, the Galaxy S 4G will be loaded with extra features including another Academy Award nominated movie, Inception (the Vibrant came with Avatar). The movie along with other multimedia centric features such a mobile HD TV and QIK's video chat should all look pretty good on the cell phone's 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen. You can also purchase or rent movies and shows from the Samsung Media Hub or watch your own that you record with the phone's 720p HD recorder.

Also included are Slacker Radio, Kindle reader, and doubleTwist with AirSync for synching photos, video, and music with a home computer over a WiFi network. The Galaxy S 4G has a 5-megapixel camera, 1GHz processor, will be running Android 2.2, and will come with a 16GB microSD card. While there is still no firm date on when the smartphone will arrive for T-Mobile it is expected some time this month.
