There's a new way to discover music on BlackBerry smartphones and it comes in the form of a new app, Amazon MP3 for BlackBerry smartphones. The app gives BlackBerry users access to over 14 million DRM-free songs for purchase and download. But that's not all, there are quite a few additional features to the app such as Parental Controls, the ability to use Amazon Gift Cards to buy music, bookmarks (so you don't have to keep searching for the same music you already found), and the ability to share music from Amazon MP3 with friends via BlackBerry Messenger, e-mail, text, Twitter, and Facebook. Let's not forget the daily music deals which include a free song of the day and daily album deals.
If you have a BlackBerry that runs BlackBerry OS 6.0 just type the song or artist or album you're looking for in the search bar and in addition to searching the web and your cell phone, it will now also search the Amazon MP3 app. That said, this app isn't just for BlackBerry OS 6.0 users its also compatible with BlackBerry OS 5.0 and higher. The app is currently in beta and can be found in the Test Center section of the BlackBerry App World market.
