The LG Vortex is an Android 2.1 smartphone that's pre-loaded with applications making it easy to get started. On board you'll find pre-installed LG applications My Status with Twitter and Facebook to help you stay up to date on all your social media activity. It also supports Verizon-centric features such as Skype Mobile, has the ability to share the phone's 3G data connection via Mobile HotSpot, VZ Navigator, Bing Search, and Bing Maps. Additionally, the LG Vortex has a 3.2-megapixel camera and the ability to record up to 16GB of video.
Also, available today is the upgrade to the LG Cosmos, the LG Cosmos Touch. The updated messaging phone now sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen as well as the expected 4-line QWERTY keyboard. It also has more functionality built-in with the inclusion of three customizable home screens, a 1.3-megapixel camera with zoom. Overall, the LG Cosmos Touch looks to be a good fit for those who want a slick messaging phone.
