Is it worthwhile to upgrade to Android 2.1 on the DROID Eris?

The HTC DROID Eris for Verizon Wireless had a lot to offer with HTC Sense and Android 1.5. The update to 2.1 is now available for over-the-air download. However, if you're having trouble receiving the update notification, you may need to do a hard reset. (See this blog post to see how to reset the DROID Eris.)
