T-Mobile added new monthly prepaid plans to it's line-up for customers who tend to text a lot or want all of the features of a traditional plan without the contract. The new prepaid plans are as follows:
· $15 Per Month Unlimited Text: Includes unlimited text, picture and video messaging, and nationwide voice calls for $.10 per minute.
· $50 Per Month Unlimited Talk and Text: Features unlimited nationwide calling and text, including picture and video messaging, and no per-minute fees.
When compared to other carriers, it's a pretty good deal. AT&T has a similar prepaid monthly unlimited plan for $60 a month. While Verizon Wireless lets consumers add unlimited monthly texting to a prepaid option for $20 a month or if you text a lot of other Verizon customers you can pay $10 a month for unlimited messaging to other Verizon customers plus get an extra 250 messages. While Boost Mobile has a similar $50 a month unlimited prepaid plan, which is on par with T-Mobile's newest offering.
