Motorola DROID to get Android 2.1 update

According to Motorola's official Facebook Page, Verizon Wireless DROID customers will start receiving the 2.1 Android OS update soon. DROID users will receive a notification on the cell phone when the update is available. As to what's included in the release, we'll have to wait until the update starts to appear on DROID smartphones, but you can see some details in this engadget post.
