I love, love, love it I drop my Blackberry 8703 probably a million times a day but this phone is so durable it never breaks I love to text so its great for that>> everything is just great I love the plan I never go over my minutes with the free incoming the only one complaint I would have is that the battery dies really quickly I believe its due to excessive texting lol that sucks

I have to say the first couple of days I was wondering if I should have gotten the Treo. Because of the blackberry track wheel. But I have to say. After getting use to the track wheel I am so thrilled with my phone. I love the keyboard. I did not like the Treo keyboard, the letters and numbers where too cropped close together, and that was a major deciding factor to getting the 8703. I love the blue tooth functionality of the blackberry. So far the phone has been dependable and speedy. No drop calls or crashing. This phone is awesome!!

I've had my 8703e since December 06', being my first smartphone, at first I was completely confused with its functionality. But after going Blackberry, I'll never go with anything else, I live in a very mountainous area (Cape Breton), and I still receive top notch call quality and overall service, the scheduler is very easy to use and helps me stay organized and the full keypad makes for a great texting/email device. I would recommend the 8703 to anyone and everyone.

This is my first Blackberry and I hated it for almost 2 weeks. Never using a Blackberry before I was very disappointed with it as a cell phone (I loved my flip phone). After I got used to the how the phone worked and learned how he e-mail worked. I have to say; this is a great device!

My experience is the same as Angela's. I have had all the PDA's and the Blackberry 8703 so far is great. The Treo was the worst. Verizon finally stepped up and let me out of the Treo and gave me a Blackberry 8703. It truly is a much better device. The battery life is great and the functionality is great as well.

I'd like to see how this is such a great device? For my constant traveling, I need voice activation for dialing and not scroll through numerous steps. Definately a driving hazard. I know email is great but I need to talk more than email and this is not the phone for my purpose but company provides phone. Would have been nice if our IT guys did some homework before saying "it's bluetooth", without noticing it doesn't support this feature.

Love it, this is my second Blackberry 8703, and they totally rock. The only thing that I'm not over-the-top thrilled with is that the vibration is very faint and often is not felt. Crank it up!

I never write reviews, but I had such an awful experience, I wanted to share my experience with others. By the time I switched to the Blackberry 8703e, I had been through about 6 treos in 8 months. First I had the 650 with Sprint. I then switched to Verizon and went with the 700w and then switched to the 700p. I own my own business and truly use the handheld PDAs for all the features that they offer and not just a phone and camera. My experience with the Treo was abominable. The phones were constantly crashing, deleting appointments, dropping calls or not even picking up the calls. The problems were endless. I spoke with a number of Verizon reps who recommended the Blackberry 8703e as much more stable PDA for a high volume user. So far, so good. I gave up the touch screen, sleek styling and camera of the Treo hoping for a lot more dependabiltiy and so far I'm happy. The reception of the phone appears to be much more superior and the phone is really easy to use, not withstanding the lack of a touch screen. I would recommend the Blackberry 8703e over the Treo.

The best Blackberry I have had and this is #4! Quick, a little easier to use and a full keyboard. Life is good!
